Welcome to Future Skills Academy! This guide walks you through everything you need to start learning today.

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email or a social account. Verify your email address to unlock full access to the platform.

2. Set up your profile

Add a profile photo and short bio, and tell us what you want to learn so we can personalize your recommendations.

3. Explore the catalog

Browse courses by category, or use search and filters to find the exact skill you want to build.

4. Enroll in your first course

Click "Enroll Now" on any course page. Free and purchased courses appear instantly in your dashboard.

Courses are organized into Parts, which contain Chapters. Here is how to move through them successfully.

1. Follow the chapter order

Chapters build on each other, so we recommend completing them in sequence rather than skipping ahead.

2. Complete quizzes and assignments

Some chapters include a short quiz or assignment to check your understanding before moving on.

3. Track your progress

Your dashboard shows a progress bar for every enrolled course, so you always know how much is left.

4. Mark chapters complete

Use the "Mark Complete" button at the end of each chapter to update your progress and unlock the certificate once finished.

Consistency beats intensity. A realistic weekly schedule is the single biggest predictor of finishing a course.

1. Pick a fixed time slot

Choose 3-5 short sessions per week rather than one long cram session. Put them on your calendar like any other appointment.

2. Set a weekly goal

Aim to complete a specific number of chapters each week instead of "study more". Specific goals are easier to keep.

3. Remove friction

Bookmark your current course, and keep notifications on so you get reminded when it is time to learn.

4. Review weekly

Spend five minutes each week reviewing your progress bar and adjusting your plan for the week ahead.

These evidence-based techniques will help you retain more from every course you take.

1. Active recall

After each lesson, close your notes and try to summarize what you just learned from memory.

2. Spaced repetition

Revisit key concepts a few days later instead of only reviewing them once. This dramatically improves long-term retention.

3. Practice by doing

Apply what you learn in a small project immediately — hands-on practice cements knowledge far better than watching alone.

4. Teach it back

Explaining a concept to someone else (or writing it in your own words) reveals gaps in your understanding.
